What's Up, VolleyCo?_March
✧ ✧ ✧
Welcome to What’s Up, VolleyCo?!
This is our monthly space to share what’s happening inside Bluejay VolleyCollective — where we’ve been, what we’re building, and what’s coming next!
Looking Back on February
__The Foundation
On February 1, we hosted our final Play Like a Jay session. After four years (and an evolution from Train Like a Stang to Play Like a Jay), we officially stepped into year five with VolleyLab (under Bluejay VolleyCollective).
What started as small skill sessions has grown into something bigger — more intentional, more structured, and more aligned with the long-term development of our athletes. We’re incredibly grateful for every athlete and family who helped build that foundation. That energy is what made the transition possible.
__In the Lab
On February 8, we launched our first official VolleyLab session! VolleyLab is built around focused, high-rep training designed to build confidence and consistent fundamentals. Whether it’s an athlete’s first day or fifth year in the gym, the goal stays the same: growth through intentional work.

Inaugural VolleySeries — Spring Women’s 6s
February also brought the launch of our first-ever VolleySeries tournament — and the response was incredible.
Fifteen teams and over 90 women came out to compete!. It was a full day of competition, connection, and community.
Congratulations to our February 22 champions:
Competitive Division — Not a Clue in the World
Semi-Competitive Division — Slami & the Gang
VolleySeries was created to be more than just a tournament. It’s a space for women to compete, reconnect, and build community — while also funding something bigger. Proceeds directly support VolleyScholar: the Women Investing in Girls Scholarship. This scholarship initiative was designed to reinvest back into female athletes.
